MAP Kinase p38 alpha (Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase p38 alpha, MAPK p38 alpha, CRK1, Csbp1, Csbp2, Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase 14, MAP Kinase 14, MAPK 14, Mapk14, Mxi2, p38, p38alpha, p38-alpha, p38a, p38MAPK, PRKM14, PRKM15) Antibody
Also known as
MAP Kinase p38 alpha
MAP kinase; N/A

Mouse (Mus musculus)
Mouse (Mus musculus)
Hamster, Human (Homo sapiens), Monkey, Mouse (Mus musculus), Rat (Rattus norvegicus); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
Specificity and cross-reactivity
Reacts specifically with p38-a-MAP kinase and does not crossreact with other MAP kinases. The immunoreactive epitope has not yet been identified. Reactivity was confirmed by Western Blot using lysates derived from the following cell lines; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
Affinity Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% sodium azide.
Storage and shipping
Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB)
The MAP Kinase p38 alpha (Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase p38 alpha, MAPK p38 alpha, CRK1, Csbp1, Csbp2, Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase 14, MAP Kinase 14, MAPK 14, Mapk14, Mxi2, p38, p38alpha, p38-alpha, p38a, p38MAPK, PRKM14, PRKM15) Antibody is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood.
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
