NIK (NF-kappa-beta-inducing kinase)
Rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus)
Polyclonal (rabbit origin)
Human (Homo sapiens), Rat ; Due to limited knowledge and inability to test the antibody against all known species, we cannot guarantee that no other cross reactivity can occur.
WB, IHC, ELISA
Western blot: 1:1000,IHC (Paraffin): 1:50-1:100
Titration of the NIK antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
This NIK antibodyis to be used only for research purposes and not for diagnostics..
NIK (MAP3K14), a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family, binds to TRAF2 and stimulates NF-kappaB activity. It shares sequence similarity with several other MAPKK kinases. It participates in an NF-kappaB-inducing signalling cascade common to receptors of the tumour-necrosis/nerve-growth factor (TNF/NGF) family and to the interleukin-1 type-I receptor.
A portion of amino acids 119-148 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this NIK antibody.
Aliquot the NIK antibody and store frozen at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized.
If you buy Antibodies supplied by NJS poly they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
